Getting to SydneyAirThese are the main domestic airlines flying into Sydney International Airport: Bookings are best made as early as possible. The tournament starts at 9am on Saturday the 22rd April and concludes at 5pm on Tuesday 25th April, allow yourself an hour to get to and from the airport, but it is probably around 30 minutes by taxi. RailThe main train between Sydney and the other capitals is the Countrylink XPT. There are direct services from Sydney to Brisbane, Melbourne and Canberra. RoadFrom Melbourne take the Hume Highway (travel time about 9.5hrs). From Canberra, take the Federal Highway and then the Hume Highway (about 3.5hrs). From Brisbane, take the Pacific Highway (about 12hrs). For bus/coach travel, try the following companies: Coaches will get you to Central Railway Station (Eddy Avenue), you can then catch a train and/or bus to get to the fields. Getting around SydneySydney has three main modes of public transport - Trains, Buses and Ferries. All of these services can be accessed via the 131500 Transport Infoline Phone 131500 It may be best to get a Red Zone Weekly Travelpass (or different zone, depending on where you are staying), which will give you unlimited public transport useage for inner Sydney while you are here. To purchase, go to a CityRail station, an authorised Sydney Buses ticket agent (most newsagents), or Sydney Ferries ticket office. Getting to and from the airport
TaxiTaxis Combined Services Phone: 133 300 TrainThe Airport Link provides regular trains to the city, where you can transfer to the CityRail network. If you are going straight to the fields, catch the train to Central and then change to a train to Bondi Junction. It will take about 45 minutes. Then you can walk down to the fields or catch a bus. BusThe cheapest way to get to and from the airport is with Sydney Buses, Route 400, to Bondi Junction. It takes around 50 minutes to get to Queens Park. If you are going straight to the fields this could be a great option. Hire CarsThe main rental car companies all operate out of Sydney Airport. Remember, you might be able to get a good deal with Budget using the AFDA Budget Buddies number. Also, if you are flying Virgin, you can usually get good deals with Europcar. Getting to the fields each dayFrom wherever you're staying, it will be easy to get to the fields.
TrainCatch a CityRail train to Bondi Junction from Martin Place, Town Hall or Central in the CBD. Then walk down to the fields, or catch a bus. BusFrom Central:

From Randwick From Circular Quay From Town Hall FerryCatch a ferry to Circular Quay and then a bus to Queens Park. You might also be able to catch a ferry to Rose Bay and then a bus to Bondi Junction. CarFrom north of the Bridge, take the tunnel and then the Eastern distributor, take the Randwick exit, follow Anzac Parade for a couple of kms, then turn left into Alison Rd, then the next left into Darley Rd and follow that along the edge of Centennial Park and cross some traffic lights and you are at Queens Park.
